MENDIP NATURE RESEARCH COMMITTEE

Activities

The MNRC has built a reputation for being one of the most open and welcoming clubs on Mendip, and as such it is the perfect base for exploring the Mendip Hills and surrounding district. Facilities are available nearby for water sports, rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, and other activities including of course caving.

Although the MNRC is primarily a caving club it's members also organise a variety of other activities including skiing and hill walking trips, photographic, geological and social weekends. Trips are also made to the main caving regions throughout the year along with club weekends on Mendip. On the first weekend of March each year the committee holds its Annual General Meeting and evening dinner.

Information on forthcoming events is listed in the Committees bi-monthly newsletter and at the Mendip Nature Research Station.
